What a Proximity Score means
Every home gets 0–100 based on how close it is to YOUR places — here's the exact math.
The Proximity Score is a 0–100 rating of how well a home's location fits your life. It's personal by design: the same house scores differently for a gym rat and a coffee snob.
Here's the mechanics. For each place or category you care about, we compute the travel time from the home to the closest matching location. Then we compare it to your time budget: within half your budget earns full credit, beyond double your budget earns zero, and anything between falls on a straight line.
Every category you picked contributes equally, and the average becomes the score on the map pin. A 90+ means nearly everything you care about is within easy reach; a 40 means you'd spend real time in the car for daily errands.
